Lao officers learn Indonesian language

(KPL) Around 80 Vientiane residents and Lao officers from the ministries of National Defence and Public Security have learnt Indonesian language, as part of cultural exchange, enhancement of friendship and solidarity between Laos and Indonesia.
A six-month training course is organised by the Indonesian Embassy in Laos which participants would learn from her native teachers from Monday to Thursday.
Taking part in the training included twenty-nine officers from the Ministry of National Defence, twenty-five policemen from the Ministry of Public Security, three Vientiane residents and the rest from the air force unit.
The course was opened by Indonesian Military Attache Col Saptono Adji held at the Embassy of Indonesia in Laos last Friday, in witnesses of Lao senior officers from the Ministry of National Defence.
