Sayaboury to have two more primary school buildings
(KPL) The construction of the new primary schools building in Na Bing village, Boten district, Sayaboury province, which began in December last year, is now 30 completed.
The total construction cost is 50 million kip, 3,5 million of which are from the contribution of the local people. The construction is undertaken and is expected to be completed in August 2008.
The school building will be brick, sngle-storey, seven metres wide and 36 metres long, roofed with corrugated roofing sheets, and have a cement floor. Upon completion, it will be made up of six classrooms, which will be able to accept 180 pupils.
In the meantime, a similar primary school building of the same size is being constructed in Meuang Ham village in the same district and province. The construction is now 35% finished and is expected to be completed in time for the coming academic year, which begins on September 1.
