Korea Association helps extend and repair Nongnieng Primary School
(KPL) The Republic of Korea Association has financed the extension and renovation of the Nongnieng Primary School buildings in the same name village, Saysettha district, Vientiane.
The association and local authorities held a ceremony last Wednesday to mark the handover of the newly improved infrastructure, which costs over 522 million kip.
The Republic of Korea Association finances 494 million kip to the extension and improvement of the school meanwhile local villagers and businesses have contributed 28 million kip for the improvement.
The extension and renovation project include the construction of three classrooms and the renovation of toilets, the building of the school fence and gate.
Present at the handover ceremony include Director of Nongnieng Primary School, Mrs. Kongkham Inthavong, representative from the Republic of Korea Association Mr. Kim Song Il, Party Secretary of Nongnieng village Mr. Khamsing Vongphakdy and local authorities and the villagers.
The association also donated educational materials and piano to the school.
