2.5 tons of copper gave for Ong Tue Buddha image casting in Huaphan

(KPL) The MMG Lane Xang Minerals Company presented recently 2.5 tones of copper weight to Huaphan province for casting the Ong Tue Buddha image at Phosay temple, Xamneua district.
The copper worth about 102 million kip or US$ 12,000 was presented on 30 June to Mr. Phankham Viphavanh, Governor of Huaphan province by representative of MMG Lane Xang Minerals Company. Mr. Sisavath Keobounphanh, LPRP CC Politburo member of the Party CC, President of the Lao Front for National Construction and Mr. Nam Yiyakhet, Minister of Energy and Mining was also invited to witness the presentation ceremony.
On this occasion, Mr. Phankham expressed thanks and gratitude to MMG Lane Xang Minerals Company for their contribution to the social-economic development in the province. MMG was an Australian registered company based in Australia and had a strong commitment to comply with Australian mining standards and policies.
