Library of Xiengkhouang receives children books

(KPL) A Laos-Japan Development Organisation for Children early this month presented reading books for children and a number of books to the library of the northern Xiengkhouang province.
The presentation of 1,655 books, worth more than 59 million kip, was held between Mr. Hakalasi Hisao, Director General of the Laos-Japan Development Organisation for Children and Mr. Vongsavath Oudomphet, director of the Xiengkhouang Library.
Most of the books presented to the library are about the history of the relation and co-operation between Laos and Japan, Japanese and English books and cartoon books in Lao language.
This was the third batch of the delivery from the Laos-Japan Development Organistion for Children to the library of this northern province.
