NPF eyes for strong Boule throwers for international events

(KPL) The Lao National Petanque Federation is eying for strong and young petanque players for international competitions.

“Our federation has organised the 2nd Lao National Sports Committee President Cup to select the best players for the Asia-Pacific Championship in Australia in November and the World Petanque Competition in China in October,” said Vice-President of the Asia-Pacific Petanque Federation and Secretary of the Lao National Petanque Federation Mr Khamla Vilaythong.

The 2nd Lao National Sports Committee President Cup will take place at the Nam Ngum 1 Dam in Keo-oudom district, Vientiane province, on 5-6 March.

The best players will be included in the national team and will receive an honourable trophy, gold medal and cash prize of three million kip, the second will get silver medal and two million kip of cash prize and the third place will receive bronze medal and one million kip.
