President’s decree on promulgation of investment promotion law
(KPL) President Choummaly Sayasone of the Lao PDR issued recently a Presidential decree to promulgate the investment promotion law.
The decree was made based on the Lao constitution, Chapter VI, article no.67.1 and the agreement of the National Assembly No.132/NA, dated on 8 July, 2009 about the endorsement of the investment promotion law. It is also based on the letter of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee No.51/NASC, dated on 16 July, 2009.
