Lao Friendship medal presented to CWW

(KPL) On behalf of the Lao government, Mr Bounkeuth Sangsomsak, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented a Friendship medal to the Concern World-Wide (CWW), which Mr Luke Stephen
received it on behalf of the body, in
Vientiane on 3 March.

The Concern World-wide (CWW)
station in Laos has done much on the
socio-economic development front in Laos since 1992.

It has engaged in many projects, such as micro-finance, anti-disaster work, rural development and public health.

The projects of the CWW are in line with the government’s plans on poverty
reduction and achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). .
