Phine and Sepon urged to focus on market-oriented agriculture

(KPL) Mr. Vilayvanh Phomkhe has urged the Party committees in Phine and Sepon districts to lead people in developing their living condition by focusing on family-run business and market-oriented plantation of rice, fruit trees, fisheries and animal husbandry.

The Governor of Savannakhet, Mr. Vilayvanh Phomkhe, and members of the provincial party committee paid a working visit to Phine and Sepon districts last week.

“The authorities have to realise the policies of the Party Central Committee on constructing development village clusters and focal areas,” said Mr. Vilayvanh.

The governor and his delegation also visited the Integrated Development Experiment Centre of the province at the village of Phokham and witnessed the handover of the Medtachit Damrongboun temple in Thadhaise village, which has been built since 2004 by Venerable Maha Ngone Damrongboun.
