Vice-President welcomes CPP high-ranking delegation

(KPL) Mr. Bounnhang Vorachith, LPRP CC Politburo member, Standing Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and Vice-President of the Lao PDR, received a high-level delegation of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), headed by Mr Nay Pena, member of the CPP Standing Board, in Vientiane on 4 March.

At the amicable talk, Mr. Bounnhang Vorachith praised and highly valued the visit to Laos of Mr. Nay Pane and his delegation as a big contribution to further strengthening the traditional friendly relations and co-operation between the two parties, states and peoples of Laos and Cambodia. Mr. Bounnhang Vorachith also delighted the achievements made by the Cambodian People’s Party in the cause of national construction and development.

Mr. Nay Pena reported to Mr. Bounhang Vorachith the results of his talks with the Lao delegation which was led by Mr. Asang Laoly, LPRP CC Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister.

The two sides informed each other of the situations of each party and country and shared opinions on solutions to deepen the bilateral relationship. During the stay in Laos, the Cambodian delegates visited some economic and cultural establishments in Vientiane Capital.
