Laos, Japan discuss on cooperation expansion

(KPL) Vientiane Mayor, Dr Sinlavong Khoudphaithoun, received a courtesy visit from Japanese Ambassador to Laos, Mr Masaaki Miyashita, at his office last Wednesday to discuss future cooperation between Vientiane Capital and Japan.
The main objective of Japanese Ambassador was to discuss ideas on boosting cooperation with Vientiane Capital as well as Laos and Japan.
Mr Miyashita informed his main objective to the Vientiane Mayor related to enhancement of mutual cooperation.
Vientiane Mayor Dr Sinlavong expressed thanks to Japanese Ambassador for paying attention to boost mutual cooperation between Vientiane and Japan. At the same time, the Vientiane Mayor also expressed thanks through Ambassador to Japanese Government and people for providing grant aid to Vientiane Capital as well as Lao Government which considered a great contribution to national construction.
Thanks to the Japanese’s grant, the infrastructure in urban and countryside has been improved; in addition different projects supported by Japanese government have been developed.
