New school in Ban Nong Phou opens

(KPL) The construction of Ban Nong Phou secondary school, Chomphet district, Luang Prabang province, has been complete for the study of the locals, after commencing in July last year.
The school is 9m wide and 22 m long with five classrooms equipped with tables, chairs and educational equipment and able to accommodate more than 200 students annually.
The construction was financed by Norwegian embassy to Laos in an amount of US$ 22,000 and local people in an amount of 67 million kip.
The handover of the school was held last month in Ban Nong Phou.
