Thai Princess donates grant

(KPL) Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand has donated 761,700 baht (Thai currency) in cash for the renovation of some schools in rural areas in order to provide opportunity to underprivileged children in Laos.
The presentation took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 2 May. Representing Her Royal Thai Princess, the Thai Ambassador to Laos, Mr. Wiboon Khusakul, handed over the package to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Thongloun Sisoulith, in the witness of high-ranking officials of both sides.
Dr. Thongloun expressed thanks to HRH Princess of Thailand through Mr. Wiboon for the provision.
