Copies of State Inspection Law handed over

(KPL) The State Inspection Authority has received 4,000 anti-corruption books (Lao and English versions) and 8,000 copies of State Inspection Law, worth over 90 million. The publications will be used as manuals for officers in their performance.
Published with the funding from the Governance and Public Administration Reform (GPAR), these books and copies will be further delivered to all state organisations, ministries and relevant agencies, and local authorities of State Inspection Authority.
At the hand-over ceremony held on 2 May, at the State Inspection Authority, the copies were presented by Mr. Nisith Keophanya, acting-director of the Department of Civil Servant Administration, who is also the GPAR project director, and Mr. Bounpone Sangsomsack, a member of State Inspection Committee in the presence of both sides’ officials.
The GPAR has provided financial support for the printing of 4,000 copies of Anti-Corruption Law (Lao version), personal computers with printers, photocopying machines, digital cameras and projectors to the State Inspection Authority.
The GPAR also provided financial support for sending officials of the State Inspection Authority to meetings overseas and also contributed fund to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day in Vientiane Capital.
