Khokaodor region supports 739 million kip for electricity installation

(KPL) The people of Khokaodor region, Sanakham district, Vientiane province has spent over 739 million kip of their own fund for electricity installation in their villages. Khokaodor region is inhabited by 6 villages with 869 households.
Mr. Done Lasvong, Head of the Energy and Mines office, Sanakham district said that the installation of electricity to this area has started since December last year by private company and so far the construction of low voltage electricity network of 22 KV with 1,690 meter has already completed
Mr. Done added that the electricity installation has now finished for two villages with 179 households, while the rest of the villages is expected to be completely installed at the end of this May.
