Training in irrigation management

(KPL) A training course to upgrade the knowledge on irrigation management and inspection of officials at provincial and district levels was held last week in Vientiane.
The training drew over 40 trainees, also including representatives of agriculture promotion offices from Saythany, Pak Ngum and Hadsaifong districts as well as Association of Irrigation Beneficiaries.
The training was under the chairmanship of Head of Agriculture and Forestry Department Mr. Kesone Thepkhamheuang.
The training is aimed at promoting capacity building of concerned officials on irrigation management and the inspection of accounting system of Irrigation
Beneficiaries Association.
The training workshop was organised by the Irrigation Management and Development Decentralization Project.
