Lao-EU provides animals to Ban Donesamphanh

(KPL) Lao-EU People’s Animal Raising Promotion Project has provided more than 100 pigs, totally worth 60 million kip, to 16 families of Donesomphanh village, Luang Namtha district of the same name province.
The families are the members of the project. The presentation of the animals took place on Tuesday in the witness of Deputy Head of Livestock and Fisheries Department, Dr. Mahanakhone Souliya, Head of Agriculture and Forestry Service of Luang Namtha, Mr. Khamlek Saydala, relevant officials and local farmers.
The villagers will raise the pig the project has given them as their revolving fund.
In addition the project will also provide the villagers grass species to plant for feeding cattle to improve their living condition and help them live above poverty line according to the policies of the party and government.
