LFNC President visits northern provinces

(KPL) Mr. Sisavath Keobounphanh, President of the Lao Front for National Construction, paid a working visit to three northern provinces of Phongsaly, Luang Namtha and Bokeo on January, 8-14.
When meeting with local authorities of the three provinces, Mr. Sisavath gave advice on the celebration of the 60th founding anniversary of the Front for National Construction, which will fall on August 13, 2010.
Mr. Sisavath said that the celebration of the Lao Front for National Construction at district levels should be organised between May and June. In addition, the LFNC president told the gathering of local authorities that individuals and organisations that have significantly contributed to the socio-economic development of the country over the past years should be awarded Victory medals and congratulatory certificates.
