Bank of Laos awards Front’s 60th anniversary memorial medals

(KPL) Bank of the Lao PDR Governor Phouphet Khamphounvong and other executives of the bank have been awarded the memorial medals of the Lao Front for National Construction's 60th anniversary.

The medals are in recognition of the dedication and contribution of the members of the bank executive board to the development and growth of the Lao Front for National Construction over the last decades.

Vice-President of the Lao Front for National Construction, Tong Yeu Thor, presented the medals to the executive board of the Bank of the Lao PDR in a ceremony held at the bank last Thursday.

On the same day, Mr. Tong Yeu Thor also lectured on the history of the Lao Front for National Construction for the bank officials. He highlighted the need of establishing the front in the wartime.

He said that the Lao Front for National Construction had been implementing the nation's two strategic causes of national construction and protection and materialising the government's New Economic Mechanism.
