Russian Ambassador bids farewell to Vice President

(KPL) Russian Ambassador Mr Vladimir Plotnikov, on 20 January, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Bounnhang Vorachit, Vice President of the Lao PDR, to bid farewell at the end of his diplomatic mission in Laos.
During the meeting, Mr. Bounnhang Vorachit congratulated the Russian Ambassador in contributing to the stepping up of relations and co-operation between the Lao PDR and Russia. He also reaffirmed that the relations between the two countries, Laos and Russian existed for a long time. At present, these relations are being progressively upgraded and developed.
Mr. Bounnhang Vorachit also wished his Russian guest good success in fulfilling his new mission and a good trip home.
The outgoing ambassador thanked Mr. Bounnhang Vorachit and Lao officials at all levels for providing support and facilities which helped him to successfully fufil his diplomatic duty in Laos. He also reaffirmed his continuing support for the strong relations and co-operation between the Russian and the Lao PDR.
