Bridge the Gap gives assistance to Dentistry Faculty

(KPL) The Faculty of Dentistry, University of Health Sciences, Ministry of Health Science, received here an assistant package worth over 220 million kip (USD 25,919) from the Bridge the Gap Foundation of Netherlands. The assistance will be used in the learning and teaching of the faculty.
The handover took place at the Faculty of Dentistry on January 20 and was performed by a representative of the Bridge Gap Foundation of Netherland Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sengphouvanh Holphady, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, University of Health Sciences, Ministry of Health Science.
“Since the signing of an MOU on the cooperation on dentistry between both sides in January 2006, the Bridge the Gap Foundation of Netherlands has trained Lao officials and teachers in Netherlands and has provided medicinal equipments as well as technical assistance to the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Health Sciences, Ministry of Health Science,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sengphouvanh.
“We hope that binding document to extend our cooperation for the next couples of years will be signed soon,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sengphouvanh.
