Party Secretary General meets Vietnamese delegation

(KPL) H.E Mr. Choummaly Sayasone, Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and State President received on 21 January in Vientiane a courtesy visit of Vietnamese high ranking delegation led by Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Commission for External Relations.
At the amicable talk, Mr. Choummaly Sayasone praised and highly valued the visit to Laos of Mr. Hoang Binh Quan and his delegation as a big contribution to further strengthening the special friendship relations and all round co-operation between the two parties, states and people of Laos and Vietnam, especially between the two parties external relations commissions.
On this occasion, Mr. Hoang Binh Quan expressed thanks to Mr. Choummaly Sayasone for his warm welcome and informed him about the activities of his delegation made during their stay in Laos.
On January 19, the delegation met with its Lao counterpart led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith who is also head of the External Relations Committee of the LPRP CC, to discuss co-operation.
