Welfare treatment for 15 heroes

(KPL) Fifteen war heroes in Viengkham district, Vientiane province, on August 19 received 163 million kip from the Labour and Social Welfare Service of Vientiane province.

The sum provided as welfare from the state for heroes was presented by Director of the Labour and Social Welfare Service Office of Vientiane province, Mr. Bountheo Taochansay to representatives of the
heroes.

“The purpose of the cash grant is in line with the Prime Minister’s decree No. 343 on welfare treatment towards individuals and organisations that have significantly contributed to the national salvation,” said Mr. Bountheo.

“For the current fiscal year, Viengkham district has received more than 163 million kip from the Labour and Social Welfare Service of Vientiane province for 15 families of national heroes and those who have contributed to the national defence during the wartime,” said Mr. Bountheo.

The presentation of the welfare was witnessed by Director of Labour and Social Welfare Service of Vientiane province, Mr. Bounsouk Chomvisane, Party Deputy Secretary of Viengkham district, Mr. Sipha Vannalath, and relevant authorities.
