Party delegation back from Cambodia

(KPL) A high-ranking delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party led by Mr. Phandouangchit Vongsa, member of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Propaganda and Training Board of the Party Central Committee, arrived home on Saturday, ending its official working visit to Cambodia from 18-21 August.

Made at the invitation of the Cambodian People’s Party, the visit was aimed to elaborate the results of the reciprocal visit of the top leaders of the two parties and states of Laos and Cambodia.

During the visit, the Lao Party delegation had a working session with officials of the Cambodian People's Party which the sides have discussed and exchanged points of view on their activities made in the past few years.

The Lao side informed the Cambodian side on activities of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party on implementing its 8th Congress resolution and its activities in preparation for the coming 9th Congress.

The Cambodian side briefed the Lao delegation about its activities and achievements.

On this occasion, the Lao delegation also paid a courtesy visit to a number of Cambodian People’s Party leaders and visited a number of cultural and social-economic development sites in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
