Army day marked in Khammouan province

(KPL) The authority and administration of Khammouan province organized on 20 January a meeting to mark the 61st anniversary founding of the Lao people’s Army.
Mr. Khambai Damlath, Governor of the Khammouan province and a number of high ranking officials in the province was invited to the function.
In his statement to the meeting, Colonel Khammone Bounchomheuangsy, Head of Political Unit of the Khammouan province’s Military Unit, talked about the great gains of the People’s Army in the province in the past few years. He also talked about the comprehensive development and growth of the Lao People’s Army, in its political aspects, organization and military hardware.
