Lawmakers’ role in environment protection promoted

(KPL) The National Assembly (NA) in cooperation with the Environment and Water Resource Management Organization held a meeting on the role of lawmakers in sharing points of view on environmental protection law.
The meeting took place in Keo-oudom district, Vientiane province, on January 21-22 and it was co-chaired by Prof. Keyoun Yotsaiviboune, Head of NA Commission on Law, and Mr. Noolin Sinbandith, Deputy Minister of Prime Minister’s Office. More than 70 representatives from relevant organizations and UN attended the meeting.
The participants also discussed various documents on environment protection.
