NA Seventh Session enters fourth day

(KPL) The seventh ordinary session of the National Assembly on 26 June entered the fourth day of its deliberations.
The function was chaired by Ms. Pany Yatortu, Vice President of the National Assembly.
In the morning session, the ministers from concern ministry answered the questions provided by N.A members. Mr. Bounthavy Sisouphanthong, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment has clarified a number of questions offered to his ministry including the proposal of N.A member, asking the ministry of planning and investment to build the new mechanism for consideration the big project and national project.
In his justification, Mr. Bounthavy said that the government of Laos in the past few years has signed a number of co-operation projects in different sectors and some projects of which was implemented particularly the hydropower projects, mining projects and land concession for agricultural purpose. He added that some national services projects which contributed for social-economic development and creating jobs was also implemented recently.
He said that some of mechanisms has been improved including the steps for investment consideration and the investment laws.
In the afternoon, the session was devoted to the deputy ministers of finance, industry and commerce, Bank of Laos and the energy and mining to clarify the questions of N.A member.
