Lao leaders greet Ukraine's National Day
(KPL) President of the Republic Choummaly Sayasone, Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Thongloun Sisoulith have sent national day greetings to the President, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine H.E Viktor Yanukovych, H.E Mykola Azarov and H.E Kostyantyn Hryshchenko, respectively.
The telegrams read:
"On the auspicious occasion of the National Day of Ukraine, we have great pleasure in extending our warm congratulations to Your Excellency and, through Your Excellency, to the government and friendly people of Ukraine.
"We are very satisfied with the friendly relations and co-operation between our two countries which have developed continuously, bringing about real benefits to the people of our two nations and contributing to the cause of peace and co-operation.
"May we extend our best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health, well-being and success in your noble tasks, as well as for the prosperity of the friendly people of Ukraine.
