Lao Women’s Union organises seminar on family health

(KPL) Lao Women’s Union and the American Embassy in Laos organized a seminar on women and family health, held at the Lao Women’s Training Centre (Phonthan) on 26 June.
Dr Katherine Camacho Car, from the Siato College, USA briefed participants on to the role of women and health in the family, how they should check the health of everyone in the family, their role in family health planning and the role of women in caring for the family.
The purpose of this seminar is also to promote friendly relations between Laos and USA and to bring awareness on the role of women in the health of families.
