NA members debate on new draft law

(KPL) The 7th Ordinary Session of National Assembly (the Sixth Legislature) yesterday discussed on a new draft law on Lao Front for National Construction.
New law is a legal tool to materialize the Party and state guidelines for enforcing the state and society into practice.
The draft law was proposed by Deputy President of the Lao Front for National Construction, Mr. Tong Yeutho. Under the new draft law is to focus on national solidarity and reconciliation, especially ethnic people nationwide, Lao people and Lao exiles, and the administration of Lao Front for National Construction based on the Lao Constitution and the enforcement of Lao PDR’s law.
New draft law on Lao Front for National Construction consists of 12 charters and 50 articles.
The law has been drafted based on the article No 7 of Lao Constitution, which was stipulated the duties of Lao Front for National Construction and mass organization. The Lao Front for National Construction is a national solidarity centre and a centre for mobilizing all social strata of all ethnic groups to contribute to the national defence and construction.
According to the President Choummaly Sayasone’s agreement was made at the 8th Congress of Lao Front for National Construction.
