NA Vice-President praises Park-kading for socio-economy development

(KPL) Vice-President of National Assembly, Mrs. Pany Yathortou, highly valued the implementation of Park-kading socio-economic development plan over the past one year.

She acknowledged the strong solidarity of the Lao ethnic people, orderliness in the district as well as its robust economic growth and the improvement of people’s living condition.

During her visit to the district on August 26, Mrs. Pany was briefed of the socio-economic development plan implementation in his district over the last one year by Chief of Park-kading district, Mr. khamlar Oumaly.

Mrs. Pany urged local authorities to further fulfill the socio-economic development plan between 2011 and 2015, to focus on education and healthcare service for people in their locality.

At this year's ordinary session of the National Assembly’s sixth ligistlature, lawmakers approved the government's proposal on increasing national budget for education up to 17 per cent and for health to 9 per cent.
