Cambodian, Lao veterans sign Cooperation Agreement for 2010

(KPL) The Cambodian Veterans Association (CVA) and the Laotian National Veterans Federation (LNVF) signed in Phnom Penh a cooperation agreement on February 01.
The agreement was inked by Cambodian Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation and CVA Secretary General H.E. Ith Sam Heng, and Laotian head of visiting delegation Nakhone Sisanonh, LNVF President.
On the occasion, both sides also discussed on issues pertaining to a congress of the Asean Veterans Federation (VECONAC), to be held in April, 2010 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Mr. Nakhone Sisanonh arrived in Phnom Penh on February 1 on a five-day visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
